Sixty-six-year-old Tang Guizhi joins a community literacy mutual aid class. After eight months of study, she and her old classmate Cheng Yulan finally usher in the day of course completion. Her daughter Tang Xiaoqing wants to prepare a formal graduation commemoration for her mother, yet in her good intentions overlooks the life feelings her mother truly wants to express.
