In a small county town in 2003, with the countdown to the county's first middle school college entrance examination constantly shrinking, Zhao Yongwei returns through rebirth carrying the painful regrets of her past life. Back then, when her old family home was demolished and relocated, her relatives coaxed away all the compensation, and her parents suffered from chronic illnesses for years afterward, causing her to endure endless hardship.
