Di Fanyin is bound with her companion beast, Xuansha, foreknowing the destiny of her family's annihilation. She creates a ruckus at the immortal gate trial to rescue her eldest brother, Di Changsheng. Relying on her multi-element spiritual roots, soul-shattering pupils, and array-refining arts, she navigates various factions, subdues the otherworldly system Xiaofen, hoodwinks Venerable Yuanxu—the guardian of the Holy Pagoda—into becoming her master, and relocates the Holy Pagoda to Yundi City. She rescues Siyuan, who suffered the destruction of his family, helping him repair his imprisoned spiritual roots and meridians, and the two enter Yuanxu's sect together. In the trial secret realm, Di Fanyin plots against the child of destiny Jin Yan, manipulates Bai Yu'an, opposes Chen Fan, subdues the system Xiaofen, and defuses her eldest brother's fatal disaster.
