Two Million Reflects Daughters' True Appearance
Overnight, Zhao Jianguo and Wang Xiumei, holding two million in savings, harbor doubts about their two daughters. Their biological daughter, Zhao Xiaomin, has rarely checked in on them for half a year, while their adopted daughter, Zhao Xiaohui, frequently thinks of the elderly couple. To figure out who is truly filial, the old couple devises a test plan, lying that their courtyard wall is damaged and urgently needing five thousand yuan for repairs. Changing out of decent clothes and dressing up like impoverished folks, they head into the city for a surprise visit without prior notice. They agree that whoever is willing to fork out the five thousand yuan for the emergency will have the million-dollar fortune left to them. If both daughters turn a cold shoulder, the old folks would rather donate all their money than leave it to ungrateful ingrates.
