The Neighbor Builds a House Without Leaving an Access Road, So I Build a Public Toilet in Retaliation
The Gao family builds a wedding house for their son, Gao Zhipeng, without leaving an access road on their own property. Instead, they intend to use their neighbor Zhou Chuan's homestead indefinitely and free of charge to drive through and store construction materials. Zhou Chuan patiently keeps quiet and gathers evidence. On the day of their wedding, he reclaims his rightful property boundary, blocking the wedding cars. The Gao family first tries to buy their way through with money, then incites villagers to pressure him, but neither tactic works. They even claim that the land should serve the entire village. Zhou Chuan takes advantage of their argument and proposes turning his family's old home into a potential site for a village public restroom. Despite the Gao family's repeated complaints and attempts to obstruct construction, nothing works. In the end, they have no choice but to demolish their own illegally extended side building. The public restroom is completed for the whole village, and the property boundaries between the two families are finally settled.
