Overworked corporate drone Song Jiayi accidentally time-traveled while reading a novel, becoming a tyrannical princess with a tragic ending, and simultaneously binding two conflicting instruction systems. To preserve herself, she cleverly maneuvered and smartly used rules to resolve crises. The once scheming hostage prince Wei Heng noticed her drastic change in temperament and gradually fell in love. The envious Lin Wanrou and the power-hungry princess successively plotted to make things difficult, all suffering the consequences of their own selfish desires. Joining hands with her close friend, female general Su Jing'an, Song Jiayi resolved conspiracies from all sides while reorganizing the imperial court and developing people's livelihoods. With wisdom and boldness, she pacified internal and external hidden troubles, ultimately ascending the imperial throne to become an enlightened empress, spending her life guarding and accompanying Wei Heng.
