Shen Zhaoyi, a qipao designer who has been a full-time housewife for five years, receives the news of her grandmother's passing on the very day her husband hands her a divorce agreement. Her grandmother leaves her an old qipao shop in the ancient city of Suzhou and a whole box of design manuscripts plagiarized by her husband. She takes her daughter back to Suzhou, reopens Jinxiu Workshop, and uses the manuscripts and her craftsmanship to expose her ex-husband's plagiarism, stitching back her own name stitch by stitch.
