Says They're Treating, But Reaches for My Card
A coworker promised to treat everyone to dinner, but when it was time to pay, they expected Xu Dong to enter his company card's PIN. One dinner gathering made him decide that he would no longer pay for other people's promises. Back at work, his proposal was stolen, the samples were swapped, and an important client even suspended their cooperation. Xu Dong and his teammates set out to recover the genuine samples and coordinate production, racing against the agreed deadline to deliver qualified gift boxes to the venue. From a dispute sparked by a single bank card to a delivery that had to be fulfilled, he stood by his principles through his actions and ensured that his hardworking teammates received the recognition they deserved. Dinner gatherings may come to an end, but genuine ability is what gives a person a firm footing.
