Meng Wanqiu, the direct eldest daughter of the grand general, recovers from a serious illness, awakens her past-life memories as Mengpo of the underworld, and binds with the "Qiankun Hall" system. Facing the third prince breaking off their engagement, she turns the tables to demand ten thousand taels of gold, instantly becoming immensely wealthy. Her stepmother, Lady Liu, and two younger sisters grow green-eyed with envy over her massive fortune, repeatedly plotting against her and even violently storming her courtyard for daylight robbery. All of these attempts are countered and slapped in the face on the spot by Meng Wanqiu using metaphysical array formations and thunderous methods. Meanwhile, Meng Wanqiu accumulates system merit by fulfilling unfulfilled wishes for ghosts. She eliminates evil ghosts, stuns the crowd with her zither skills at the Autumn Appreciation Banquet, and even uses medical skills to save the old madam of the Duke's estate, successfully making a renowned name for herself throughout the capital.
