A bizarre case involving white flowers that devour corpses erupts in Chang'an. Former subordinates of the Crown Prince are brutally killed, and a night watchman is silenced by deadly white threads. These eerie phenomena point toward a secret hidden deep within the imperial palace. Di Renjie joins forces with Ming Ye (A Nu), a young man born with an extraordinary floral constitution, to investigate. Together, they uncover Fu Youyi's conspiracy to resurrect his daughter using the white-flower technique of Ying Ji from the Qin dynasty and imprison A Nu's father. The two venture into the ancient tomb of Dabaozishan in Longnan, overcome deadly mechanisms, and face relentless pursuit and betrayal. At last, they rescue Ming Huaiyuan at the Wuzhou altar and arrange a life-or-death showdown with Fu Youyi at Guatai Mountain in Tianshui. A deadly confrontation is about to begin.
