Qin Hao is betrayed and framed by his girlfriend, Jiang Yun, and is reborn at the beginning of the apocalyptic escape. He awakens a fusion system and tames a mutated husky. With vehicles he crafts by hand and trades in supplies, he repeatedly escapes death as Infinite City collapses. Along the way, he rescues a young woman named Bai Yiyi and joins forces with various groups of survivors to build an ark fleet. Together, they match wits against Jiang Yun, who plunders others' fortunes, and Huang Mang, a shadow assassin. Ultimately, they pass through the Gate of the End and lead everyone through the many trials set by the Supreme God in the Divine Realm.
