The Lame-Legged Adopted Son Shoulders the Entire Family
A violent rainstorm causes a wall to collapse, crushing the mother's ankle, just as 920,000 yuan in land compensation suddenly comes to the Li family. The two biological sons have eyes only for the money. They refuse to pay for their mother's medical treatment and even demand wages from their own father for repairing the family wall. But their adopted brother, despite his lame leg, empties his wife's life savings to save his mother, carries the elderly woman to the hospital on his back, and braves the rain to repair the courtyard wall. On the very day the compensation money arrives, the old man publicly announces that every penny belongs to his adopted son. The biological brothers throw tantrums, make false police reports, and even smash the newly built house in the dead of night. With money tearing their family apart, what fate awaits them all?
