The protagonist Hu You possesses the supernatural ability of divination. Every day three divinations are infallible, able to peep into people's misfortunes and blessings for seven days, and know all matters within a hundred miles with a pinch of his fingers. He foresees that seven days later, Chengdu will suffer from an extreme cold natural disaster, exotic beasts will run amok, and all living creatures in the city will suffer from a bloody disaster. In order to stop the world-destroying disaster, he surrenders himself to the Security Bureau to report the heavenly secrets, not sparing the loss of ten years of life. He joins forces with officials to trace the clues of grave robbers, rushes to the barren mountains taking the colorful scale green python as a guide, races against time to lock onto the source, and goes against the current on the eve of the doomsday, vowing to strangle the natural disaster in the bud before the catastrophe arrives.
