To raise money for his younger sister's surgery, ordinary young man Lin Feng applies for a job as an administrator at an asylum offering a monthly salary of 100,000. Expecting an easy job, he unexpectedly discovers that all the patients are ancient gods sealed away inside! An old, yellowed manual of Demon-Suppressing Arts awakens the dormant divine power within him, setting him on a path to suppressing demons and monsters and fighting a dark organization. From a confused ordinary wage earner to an heir of the Demon-Suppressing tradition wielding the Seven-Star Ghost-Slaying Sword and possessing a three-headed, six-armed divine form, Lin Feng proves that even an asylum administrator earning 100,000 a month can become the last line of defense protecting all living beings in a world overrun by demons!
