In the third year after her divorce, Shen Zhixia enters into a contract marriage with single father Gu Haiming for her daughter Miaomiao. She attentively cares for his autistic son Xiaozhou, and the four gradually become a family. Ex-wife Lin Man suddenly returns, publicly humiliating her and intentionally provoking Xiaozhou into hiding in the warehouse.
