Educated Youth Returns Home: Hunting in the Mountains to Save His Mother and Protect the Little Ones
After five years working in the countryside, educated youth Lin Feng returns home and discovers that his family is being bullied and driven out by their own relatives. Even his late father's framed photograph has been damaged. After binding to a mountain-foraging system, he finds wild ginseng in the mountains and sells it for 200 yuan to improve his family's living conditions. He exposes the lies and secures the return of his family home within three days. When a mountain flood strikes, Lin Feng throws himself into rescue and disaster relief. After the disaster, he leads the entire village in leasing mountain land to grow medicinal herbs, then cuts through Eagle Beak Cliff to bring in irrigation water and save the crops. He leads his fellow villagers toward prosperity through hard work. Xinghua, who stood by him when times were hardest, finally receives the traditional eight-sedan-chair betrothal gifts. Living off the mountains, the great range sustains his family and brings wealth to the entire village.
