Suppressing Prison, Sealing Gods
Lin Yan is the only disciple in the Yun Sect in a thousand years to be born without a spiritual root. He endures ridicule from everyone in the sect and is regarded as a hopeless waste of talent. Yet an ancient, primordial Prison-Suppressing Physique lies dormant within him. By a stroke of fate, he obtains the long-lost forbidden body-cultivation technique, the Everlasting Primordial Art. From then on, he embarks on an immortal cultivation path that defies the heavens through physical strength alone, without relying on spiritual roots. By his side are Black Egg, a sharp-tongued, roguish little black dragon who bears a thousand-year-old secret of sacrifice; Pidan, a black spherical spirit pet who loves playing matchmaker and enthusiastically bringing couples together; and Nuonuo, a snow-white spirit pet who gently protects her master despite being destined to become a sacrificial offering. Through brutal training, tempering his body with heavenly lightning, and hunting demons in life-or-death battles, Lin Yan continually pushes the limits of his mortal body.
