Zhao Guoping, founder of the Zhao Group, and Li Wanru concealed their hundreds of billions in net worth, raising their adopted son Zhao Zhengyang in the countryside for twenty years. As Zhao Zhengyang's company was about to go public, in order to curry favor with his gold-digging girlfriend Sun Han and her mother, he actually coerced his adoptive parents into handing over their shares, attempted to sell off the ancestral home, and even publicly tore up the adoption certificate to sever ties. Completely heartbroken, Zhao Guoping and his wife revealed their true identities at the celebration banquet, instantly driving their adopted son's company into bankruptcy, and exposing the true faces of Sun Han and her mother. In the end, the ungrateful Zhao Zhengyang lost everything.
