Jingjing comes from a rural background, but out of insecurity, she lied to her husband Ale that she had been an orphan since childhood. Her rural mother came to the city with an empty purse and no money to shop, so Ale enthusiastically helped pay for it. Learning that the old woman was searching thousands of miles for her daughter and was from the same hometown as Jingjing, he kindly invited her to stay at their home temporarily.
