I Lent Him 30,000 to Build a House, but He Turned Around and Reported My Family for Raising Fish on Wasteland
Grandmother Xu Yuegui cleared and cultivated her family's wasteland to dig a fish pond. Yet Zhou Jingming, a neighbor who had just secured a government position and owed the Liang family a great debt of gratitude, reported her under his real name. As a result, the Liang family was fined 8,000 yuan. The Zhou family then denied the 30,000-yuan loan they had borrowed to build their house and repeatedly made things difficult for the Liangs, bullying and suppressing them at every turn until Grandmother became so distressed that she fell ill. The Liang family gathered evidence from every possible source and sought justice through legal channels. In the end, the Zhou family repaid the debt, their illegally constructed buildings were demolished, and Zhou Jingming had his job offer revoked for his misconduct. The wicked ultimately suffered the consequences of their own actions.
