The lazy Shen Fei was tricked into going to Southeast Asia, where he spent half his life as a forced laborer, enduring endless hardship. In his previous life, he failed to escape and only returned home in old age, after years of wasted time. By then, his family had grown to hate him. Reborn, he escapes back to his little fishing village with the Forced Labor King System, vowing to raise his children well and build a better life for them. He can bind animals and command them to work: binding blue crabs lets him sweep the beaches clean, piling crabs into mountains; binding a weasel leaves his family with more pheasants than they can eat; binding a big yellow dog gives his daughter a loyal protector; and binding large yellow croakers turns him into the village's envy-worthy professional fisherman. Until one day, he binds a giant deep-sea beast, and the entire ocean becomes his family's backyard.
