The Loyal Dog Guards Their Mortal Bonds
After his father passes away, the family property is divided. His two elder brothers take the fertile farmland and ancestral home, while Xu Huairen asks for nothing and takes only an elderly dog named A Fu. This loyal dog, who can speak, carries a long-forgotten story of saving a life. He repeatedly warns of impending danger, saving a mother and child and protecting the entire village. Even thirty taels of silver cannot tempt him, and he risks his life to protect them through storms and devastating floods. Xu Huairen remains true to his principles, cherishing loyalty, valuing gratitude, and repaying hatred with kindness. After enduring countless hardships, the brothers finally resolve their differences, and their broken family is reunited.
