Lin Mo lost his mother at the age of one and was cruelly abandoned by his biological father, Zhao Mingde. Fortunately, Lin Boyong, a man who had seen through the ways of the world, took him in. Concealing his identity, Lin Boyong raised him in seclusion in a mountain village to temper his character, intending to pass on his entire estate to him. But Zhao Mingde suddenly arrived with his family to claim Lin Mo as his son. Lin Mo insisted that his grandfather accompany him to the Zhao family, so Lin Boyong continued pretending to be an ordinary man while helping him test their true character. At the Zhao residence, Lin Mo endured harassment from his stepmother and her stepson and was even assigned cleaning duties. When he uncovered financial loopholes in the company, he was ridiculed instead of praised. He then discovered that the Zhao family's sudden reunion was actually a scheme to make him donate blood to his sick half-brother. At the critical moment, Lin Boyong made a commanding entrance. In the end, Lin Mo took over a vast corporate empire and turned his life around to become a winner.
