Special forces soldier Lu Qingyan time-traveled to the Northeast forest region in the 1970s, becoming a poor hunter whose parents both passed away. Starting in ice and snow, relying on his past-life skills, he modified an old matchlock gun into a lethal weapon, ventured alone into the Great Black Bear Ridge, hunted wild boars, fought wolf packs, and wrestled black bears, stubbornly fighting his way from a pauper to the wealthiest man in the entire village. Protecting the pretty widow Chen Yuzhi, building a large brick house, buying a sewing machine, setting rules and beating bullies, he turned from an ignored orphan into the undisputed King of Hunters of the Red Flag Brigade. In the snowy frozen sea, game is endless, and the good life is only just beginning!
