Luo Ye is inexplicably arrested simply because his cousin forgot to tell him that the apartment had been rented out to the campus belle. By chance, Luo Ye also meets the aloof campus beauty Su Baizhou outside the library. Military training, a duet at a party, games, clubs, and everyday dates gradually bring the two closer as their initial awkwardness and cautious probing give way to growing affection. Roommates and Tang Enqi, a former goddess from Luo Ye's past, keep stirring up their relationship. As family history, birthday gestures, and misunderstandings from outsiders come into play, Su Baizhou begins to realize how much she cares about Luo Ye. Finally, while drunk, Luo Ye tells his senior, "I like you," ushering their ambiguous relationship into a new stage.
