Totem Stolen, I Awakened as a God in the Serpent Abyss
The true Saintess, Ye Lan, is betrayed by her former follower, Ji Yue, who envies her. After tearing away her Golden Bird Totem, Ji Yue throws her into the Ten Thousand Serpents Pit. Ji Yue usurps the position of Saintess, places Ye Lan's father, Ye Zheng, under house arrest, and prepares to eliminate him during the Heaven Sacrifice Ceremony. At the bottom of the pit, with nowhere left to turn, Ye Lan awakens an ancient bestiary among the bones. By merging with poisonous blood, she tames extraordinary beasts and fights her way through assassins, rescues her father, and cures his poison. She exposes Ji Yue's schemes and absorbs the Abyssal Main Vein sealed by her mother. Ultimately, she kills Ji Yue and rebuilds her tribe.
