Modern time-traveler Lu Chen finds himself stranded in a troubled era, taking over the impoverished Black Wind Stronghold and bound to a hegemony system that enforces elimination upon failure. While he only wants to save up money, run away to Jiangnan, and lie flat, all his self-preservation maneuvers to deal with the system are brain-compounded by his subordinates into master strategies of an ambitious ruler. By a twist of fate, he gathers fierce generals, strategists, and the distressed Crown Princess Xiao Wan'er. Amid government encirclement and turmoil in the chaotic era, he finds himself involuntarily stepping onto the path of vying for supremacy. It is a hilarious, anti-trophy, brain-supplemented historical costume story.
