Lin Zhixia should have had a warm and loving family, but her mother, Pei Wanci, excessively favors her adopted daughter, Lu Yanqiu, plunging Zhixia into an abyss of suffering. After Lu Yanqiu deliberately frames her, Pei Wanci cruelly sends Lin Zhixia to a women's virtue academy, where she endures three years of torment.
