Ling Chen was expelled from the Qingyun Sect and framed by Lin Yueyao and Chu Yunxiao, falling off a cliff. On the verge of death, his left eye awakened the power of chaos, revealing that he is the reincarnation of the Ninth Immortal Emperor. Enduring and cultivating in secret, he cooperated with Lin Yueyao to sneak into a forbidden zone to acquire an Emperor Weapon fragment, only to be ambushed by Chu Yunxiao and the Heaven-Burial Palace. Lin Yueyao detonated her bloodline to save Ling Chen, and Ling Chen was severely wounded after sealing the projection of the Heaven-Burial Palace Master. Ao Qing betrayed him, and the Heaven-Burial Palace intervened. Ling Chen integrated the Emperor Weapon fragments, and his cultivation broke through to the Immortal Emperor realm. He stormed the Heaven-Burial Palace to seize the fourth fragment, learned the distribution of the remaining fragments, and ultimately fought a decisive battle against his homological evil entity, the Heaven-Burial Palace Master. Using Chaos Origin Return, Ling Chen perished together with him, inherited the origin of the Ninth Immortal Emperor, and recast the Heavenly Dao.
