Facing the predicament of the deserted shadow puppetry town workshop, Fang Piying plans to build a research and study base integrating carving, performance, and experience. He invites craftsmen such as Wen Kepi and Gong Shuaying to cooperate, opening shadow puppetry carving courses, renovating the theater, and developing homestays and exhibitions. The theater and new works gain attention, heavy rain causes the theater to leak and damages the shadow puppets, the team relocates tourists, raises repair funds, rescues the shadow puppets, and resumes courses. Through everyone's efforts, the shadow puppetry works and research courses win awards, the theater receives praise, operations gradually stabilize, and traditional stories between light and shadow are seen again.
