Shi Gensheng encounters a wealth-scattering immortal disguised as an elderly man who has fallen into a ditch. Facing temptations of greed and the covetous plots of wicked bullies and cunning merchants, he withstands multiple trials, guards his original intention, adheres to the principle of taking wealth only to help others by half, uses the treasure basin to benefit his neighbors, and reforms the hearts of the people in the region.
