The Sea Fog Returner
In the southeast coastal area of Daliang, eleven days after Xiao Man's grandpa went missing at sea, he returned, knocking on the door late at night. The familiar safety knot on his chest rekindled hope for the family, but as soon as grandpa entered the house, his call unexpectedly rang out from outside the door again, and even her parents, who had passed away many years ago, were calling Xiao Man to go out. Grandpa guarded the door without sleep, being vague about how he was rescued. The old village records state that the great-grandfather also "returned on the eleventh night and left after three nights." On the second night, facing the familiar smell and the entangled knots, Xiao Man still hesitated: Is the person before her eyes really grandpa?
