Bankrupt zoo director Lin Ye unexpectedly awakens the ability to communicate with animals, rescuing the Northeast tiger Hu Niu—who was misjudged as a crazy tiger—from the black-hearted zoo owner Li Dashan. The man and the tiger become a sensation by live-streaming their dancing, thus drawing continuous framings and retaliations from Li Dashan. After a landslide breaks out, Lin Ye leads Hu Niu deep into dangerous territory, successively rescuing disaster-stricken animals such as a baby elephant, a lioness, and a red fox, while securing support funds to rebuild the park. Facing plots of poisoning, theft, and illegal animal trafficking, he resolves crises with the truth time and again. In the end, the evildoers receive punishment, the abused animals gain a new lease on life, and Happy Zoo transforms into a warm home that protects life and helps animals return to nature.
