Deification Through Incense: Starting from a Dilapidated Temple
On a stormy night in a desolate mountain, an ancient, dilapidated temple has lain silent for years. Mu Chen, who once wielded great power over an entire region, has lost all his spiritual energy and is on the brink of losing consciousness. Only a fragment of his remaining consciousness is sealed inside a broken clay statue. Seeking a way to cure her seriously ill mother, the impoverished young girl Shen Luyi takes shelter from the rain one night and accidentally wanders into the abandoned temple. She sets aside her inner doubts and sincerely prays for a blessing. Unexpectedly, the pure and heartfelt faith of an ordinary mortal gives the dying Mu Chen a new lease on life, awakening his primordial spiritual power. A faint glimmer of light quietly enters the mortal world, silently changing the girl's fate and giving the long-dormant remnant spirit the chance to be reborn and rise again.
