Crossing over into an ancient troubled era, Chen Xuan became the emperor's only brother, originally expecting to experience the pampered life of a prince holding supreme political power and embracing beauties in sleep. Unexpectedly, it was a disastrous start: 300,000 rebel troops besieged the city, leaving the imperial court with only a single capital city and 10,000 imperial guards. Even Chen Xuan's newly awakened system vanished after dropping a newbie gift pack, with the rebels demanding that Chen Xuan hand over the foolish emperor in exchange for being enfeoffed as a prince or marquis.
