Reborn, Lu Jianguo knows that an extreme blizzard is about to seal off the mountains. This time, he is no longer at the mercy of others—stockpiling food and coal in advance, and moving his mother and younger brother into an air-raid shelter. The blizzard plunges down, minus sixty degrees. The eldest uncle who seized the ancestral home, the former fiancée who broke off the engagement, all cry and knock on the door claiming to be family. Lu Jianguo guards the iron gate and his bottom line: my food and warmth will not be given for free to those who have hurt me. Wind and snow reveal people's hearts. After the disaster, putting aside past grudges, he brings out seeds to lead the fellow villagers in rebuilding their homes, and happily weds the girl he loves.
