A 20-episode period rebirth short drama, Reborn 82: I Refuse The Iron Rice Bowl And Go Farm, tells the story of retired worker Lin Jianguo, who after passing away with deep regrets, is reborn back to the crossroads of life in 1982. Withstanding opposition from his whole family, he gives up the envious iron rice bowl of the machinery plant, and relying on memories of future generations, grows out-of-season vegetables and engages in agricultural sideline distribution, stepping by stepping starting a business and getting rich.
