Workplace newcomer Lin Mo suffers bullying from his boss and colleagues, jumps off a building under unbearable pressure, and upon nearing death, is reborn and binds with the Golden Palm system. He counterattacks all the way to reach the top as general manager, but loses his original intention and harshly treats his employees, leading to a rebellion led by Xiao Zhou and another fall from a building, only to wake up and discover it was all just a dream. The awakened Lin Mo is no longer timid, resigns, and adapts the dream into a hit short drama titled The Golden Palm. His former superiors launch successive retaliations, all of which are countered and sent to justice by him. The capitalist Xiao Zhou is precisely the person who led the rebellion in the dream, once again stirring up conflict, and Lin Mo falls from the building at the protest site. Waking up in the hospital confirms it is reality, and his phone pops up with the Golden Palm system restarting, leaving the story in a cyclical suspense.
