In the Western Desert, where yellow sand fills the sky, Asha, a young girl at Qingsha Post Station, rescues Shuoye, the heavily injured prince of the Moon Foxes. The tears of joy of a Moon Fox can turn into spirit sand, while tears of blood bring disasters that devour oases. The royal mansion and the Fox Hunting Alliance wantonly hunt and kill Moon Foxes to seize the supreme treasure. Asha's aunt betrays Shuoye for money, and the disaster sand spreads from then on, well water dries up, and the common people contract a strange sand-erosion disease. Asha turns her back on the stable post station and accompanies Shuoye to Crescent Sand Valley. The two break into dungeons and fight the Fox Hunting Alliance, uncovering layer upon layer of conspiracies behind the royal city. The human race and the fox race set aside their estrangement and establish the Linglu Alliance, using their solitary courage to fight endless greed, seeking redemption for all living beings and their kind amidst the sky-filling yellow sand.
