A modern youth, Xiao Lin, accidentally time-travels to ancient times. He originally wanted to make some silver and lie flat to get through the days, but unexpectedly, the boy groups and girl groups he casually assembled became popular all over the capital overnight with the tune of "Subject Three"! From a rough-and-ready troupe in a dilapidated courtyard to an Imperial City entertainment house where tickets are impossible to get, Xiao Lin brings modern entertainment and marketing tactics all into ancient times! Organizing performances, making merchandise, doing special shows, and opening nationwide branches, while dragging the emperor—who is traveling incognito to chase stars—along to "build a career." Facing harassment from aristocratic families, imitation from competitors, and Prince Ning stepping in to steal business, Xiao Lin not only doesn't get squeezed out but becomes even more popular through the fights, turning all his competitors into business partners. Until the emperor assigns him an even more outrageous task!
