Planting Medicinal Herbs on a Barren Mountain, the Whole Village Laughs at Me, and I Rake in 10 Million
Lin Maisui, a female college student, returned home after graduation. Unwilling to be used by her family of origin as a bargaining chip for her younger brother's wedding house, she tore up the 300,000 betrothal gift engagement in public and swore to rely on herself to carve out her own world. Braving the mockery of the whole village, she contracted the barren Qingshipo mountain where not a blade of grass grew, and cultivated precious Chinese herbal medicine Bletilla striata. From reclaiming the barren mountain to establishing a village-wide cooperative, step by step she broke channel monopolies, opened up high-end medical research supply chains, and ultimately created a tens-of-billions-level Chinese herbal medicine industrial empire, leading the whole village to escape poverty and get rich. At the same time, she severed the shackles of her family of origin and walked toward He Ye in a mutual affection, achieving double fulfillment in both career and love.
