Reborn in 1955, He Naiwen pretends to be a fool and lies low while plotting revenge for the blood feud of his previous life. Armed with exceptional hunting skills and knowledge of medicinal herbs, he ventures into the mountains to hunt game and dig up wild ginseng. He protects his family, stands up to village bullies, and punishes evildoers. Leading his entire family out of poverty, building a new house, and establishing a thriving family business, he transforms from an easily bullied 'fool' into the pillar of his household, bringing his family an increasingly secure and prosperous life.
