Overworked office worker Qin Ming dies suddenly after an all-nighter and wakes up in 1970 in the body of an unlucky man who shares his name. The original owner was a hopeless simp who sold his house to raise money to buy a factory job quota for his crush, Wang Xue. But she immediately used the job quota to curry favor with another man, while looking down on Qin Ming as a street loafer. As Qin Ming takes over this mess, he binds himself to a marketplace system that lets him buy and sell goods and occasionally offers special items.
