Back in 1982 in the Changbai Mountains, Gu Lin is kicked out of his family home with nothing by his biased parents. With his wife and daughter depending on him, he angrily signs the family separation agreement and heads deep into the mountains. After awakening the Changbai Encyclopedia of All Things System, he hunts a giant wild boar, digs up century-old wild ginseng, and tames a Northeast tiger. When his greedy relatives are starving and desperate, he lives in a wooden cabin, enjoys hot pot, and shuts the door on them with a cold laugh. This hard-core mountain hunting adventure takes you into the most authentic rags-to-riches legend of Northeast China.
