In 1992, Zhou Mingyuan poured his savings to help his childhood friend Liu Erhu run a rural peddler cart, only to be kicked out by him with 2,200 yuan just as business started booming. Calmly, he took away his accumulated goods and connections. Because of substandard goods and short-changing, Liu Erhu and his wife were despised by the entire village and detained. Relying on integrity, Zhou Mingyuan restarted, expanding from one cart to two, going from village peddling to opening a shop, and becoming a leading rural entrepreneur. Meanwhile, Liu Erhu fell into ruin all the way, never winning back forgiveness. A peddler's cart runs on roads, but guards the heart.
