Back to 1998, Mazu Grants Me the Divine Skill of Tidal-Flat Foraging
In 2028, Gao Tianqiang dies in a hospital bed, filled with regret. When he opens his eyes again, he finds himself back in 1998, just as his grandmother is forcing his younger sister into marriage. This time, he refuses to stand by and watch. He demands that the family split up in front of everyone, taking his mother and younger siblings and leaving with nothing but two dilapidated side rooms and 6,000 yuan in hard-earned money. At the end of his rope, he reverently bows to the sea and receives the power to see Mazu's guidance and enjoy the Dragon King's protection. He can instantly tell where the fish are plentiful and where treasures lie hidden. From digging for mud dragons on the tidal flats to catching tiger grouper in the deep sea, from sea cucumbers washed up after typhoons to century-old ambergris, he turns the ocean into a lifeline for his entire family. Meanwhile, his grandmother and second uncle, who are waiting to laugh at his misfortune, have no idea that the real show is only just beginning.
