Twenty Years of Misplacement, The Heiress Returns from the Kiln Site
When the housekeeper of the Qiao family retires, she reveals a secret to Qiao Yunlan: she suspects that Yunlan's daughter may have been switched at birth. Yunlan travels to a porcelain kiln in western China, where she meets Shen Nian, a young woman with a tragic past whose birthmark closely resembles that of the baby born to Yunlan years ago. Yunlan brings Shen Nian back into the family. However, at the inheritance meeting, a DNA report claims that Shen Nian is not her biological daughter and that Qiao Chengxue is her true child. Later, when confidential information about the kiln is leaked, Yunlan wrongly blames Shen Nian. The truth eventually reveals that Qiao Chengxue orchestrated the scheme, and Shen Nian is secretly harmed and sent to an illegal kiln. A second DNA test finally confirms that Shen Nian, whose real name is Qiao Nian, is Qiao Yunlan's biological daughter, while Qiao Chengxue is the impostor heiress switched at birth by Yunlan's second sister-in-law, Qiao Shifang.
