Migrant worker Li Xiuqin leaves home to work, entrusting her hypoglycemic daughter, Duoduo, to her father-in-law, Wang Laoshuan. Obsessed with mahjong, Wang neglects the child, and Duoduo is abducted by human traffickers while going out to buy food. Receiving a distress signal from Duoduo's smartwatch, Li Xiuqin rushes home, only to face deceit and malicious slander from her father-in-law and clan elders. First Secretary Su Zhiyuan overcomes all obstacles, defying threats and framed accusations to retrieve surveillance footage and track down clues. After a tense rescue operation, a dying Duoduo is saved and all perpetrators are brought to justice. Later, a processing factory is built in the village to provide local jobs for migrant women and protect the left-behind children.
