Jiang Wang, the chief mechanic, is fired after exposing his boss for trying to rip off a Maybach owner with an exorbitant major repair bill, and his entire set of imported tools is confiscated. He opens his own shop, "Engine Pulse," across the street and repeatedly humiliates his former employer with his exceptional technical skills. A Porsche's power failure turns out to be caused by nothing more than a single coin, and he also exposes the shop for selling substandard brake pads that cause a heavy truck accident. Ultimately, Changliu Auto Repair is investigated, sealed, and driven into bankruptcy, while Jiang Wang builds a legend through his integrity and craftsmanship.
