At This Table, There Is No Place for Me
Shen Wanqing, a career woman, has been married to Zhou Muzhi for seven years. Thanks to her excellent financial means, she paid for their home in full, covered all the family's expenses, and took care of every household chore. Yet her mother-in-law, Li Guifen, and sister-in-law, Zhou Min, have long taken advantage of her and looked down on her without a second thought. On their seventh wedding anniversary, Shen Wanqing spent nine hours preparing twelve dishes. Suddenly, Zhou Min arrived with her son, Doudou. Li Guifen immediately took away Shen Wanqing's dining chair and ordered her to go to the kitchen to scrub the pots, telling her to clean up after everyone had finished eating. Zhou Muzhi coldly agreed with his mother.
